A genset trailer built to fit your unit
No two generators are the same, so we don't sell a one-size trailer. We build each generator trailer to the size, weight and mounting of your genset, typically from 15 kVA to 200 kVA, so it tows safely and stands level while it runs. Most of our generator trailers are double axle for extra stability, and on request we'll mount your generator before it leaves our workshop. You get mobile power that moves from site to site with your crew.

Why most of our generator trailers are double axle
About 9 out of 10 generator trailers we build are double axle. Two axles make the trailer safer to tow and keep the generator standing level when it's parked and running, which is better for the generator and for the people working around it.

Most trailers leave our Muldersdrift workshop about 10 working days after the spec is confirmed. If your job can't wait, tell us when you need it. We can often build sooner.
Common questions
Is the trailer registered?
Yes. Every LF Trailers road trailer is supplied with a data plate and VIN so it can be registered on NATIS for public roads. The only exception is the 5000L diesel site tanker, which is built for use on site only and doesn't come with registration papers.
How long does a build take?
About 10 working days per trailer once the spec is confirmed, and sooner when the job needs it.
Can I see more of the trailer before I order?
Yes. We have extra photos and videos of our builds and are happy to send them. Just ask when you request your quote.
